A couple things that set The Shop apart from other auto repair options I have used for my BMW's within Richmond are their attention to detail when dealing with your car (everything is always exactly how I left it but just cleaner), Quick and clear communication (they will educate you on as little or as much as you want to know about your car, issues or preventive maintenance) and their desire to see your car driving at its top ability and you having fun doing so. The guys who have worked with me and on my car here are always a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend The Shop to everyone I run across in BMW circles.

In the last month I got rid of my lemon e28 and picked up a super clean 1987 325is 2.7 Stroked. Over the past weekend I did some major suspension work done and track prep. I ran into an intermittent idle issue. I went to The Shop to help diagnose the problem. The owner and senior shop mechanic were quick to help, super friendly and got me on my way. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly and they are super willing to work on your old BMW's. I'm a gearhead and I'd willingly recommend this shop to any buddy I track with.

Very professional service; felt instantly I could trust they would take care of car and they did that. I had the same problem for over a year going back in forth to different BMW services and never getting the issue fixed. The most obvious thing needed to be corrected and if this was done initially from other service shops I would have saved at least $5K!!!! Thank you!

New (to me) car with a few (!) issues, and wouldn't take it anywhere else. Top notch work, with great people who are willing to take the time to explain/ show/ prioritize the work needed. Reasonable prices, but work they warranty and stand behind. AND they won't try to push you to do work that doesn't need to be done. (Ladies, I'm sure you're familiar with places who do this!) Cannot say enough good things- if you have a BMW, Mini, or Mercedes, this is the place to go!

The Shop has been taking care of my bmw x5 and z4m roadster for several years. Most recently the door handles on the driver's and passenger's side were broken on the x5. I called The Shop and they got me in that day. The had my car for several days waiting on parts, however they worked on a day they were closed on a Holiday to get my car back to me as promised! Best Indy shop in RVA. The quality and warranty on their exceeds others in the area. Highly recommended!

Kelly, Adi, and the team continue to provide superior BMW work and customer service. Dropped my z4m off in the morning and they diagnosed and repaired a differential leak by 4pm that afternoon. Best Indy shop in rva!

The staff seemed friendly, forth-coming with pertinent info of other repairs needed. Professional, affordable and courteous. The Shop gave me a car rental which was at no charge, while repairing my BMW. Unfortunately, after paying $2700 for repairs and replacing my A/C , it's still not working. I have tried to call over the holiday weekend but couldn't leave a message. I'll try again today. Meanwhile, I cannot drive my car. I loved the service. Hopefully we can get it working. Thank you.
