Richmond Auto Repair

I was visiting family in Richmond and was looking for an oil change for my 328i since the options in my hometown are few. I went to The Shop and it was a great experience. The cost was less than expected and the service excellent. They even washed my dirty car. I will probably arrange future visits to family when I need service just so I can go back to The Shop. Anyone with a BMW must give this place a try.

I have driven a BMW for over 13 years now, owning a 3 series and now an X5. New to Richmond, I identified The Shop through internet reviews. And in all my 13 years of taking my cars to auto shops, (MOSTLY BMW Dealerships) I have never received better service. The young, bright shop owner took the time to explain the current situation with my X5 and which repairs were absolutely necessary. Best part? The cost was more than fair. I will never step into another Dealership again. Support this small business owner. You won't regret it!

I was greeted very professionally and courteously. The work was done to my satisfaction, and as scheduled. They found a couple of issues that I had suspected, but did not tell them about. The price was definitely less than the cost at the dealer, with the same or better quality. I highly recommend The Shop.

I just want to say the shop is the best BMW shop in Richmond Virginia. I have own this car for 3 years prior to bring it to Kelly, who is the greatest. The car would buck and blow white smoke out the back of the car without warning, one minute it is driving fine and then the next we are sitting at the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. I took it to 3 different mechanics which they all made me replace ignition coils and wire ..etc. Still the problem was not fix. Finally, I took the car to The shop as the last straw and I am glad I did because for the first time I was able to drive the car regularly and out of town with confidence. The car had multiple vacuum leak and some other issue the shop found. The price compare to the dealer was very reasonable. The Shop is the only place for my car.

With an older Bimmer I wanted to be sure I could find an honest place who could figure out the problem and fix it quickly once so I didnt have to return with a lingering issue since I was coming from out of town and only there for a few days. The Shop excelled at all. They knew what was up in a short time and then went about the repair quickly. The price was quite fair. most important, I didnt feel like an idiot. Some places make women feel dumb about car repair. This place was awesome. I recommend everyone to go there. I went on the recommendation of family friends. I AM SO HAPPY to have tried The Shop in Richmond Virginia... Whether you are local or a visitor you will be thrilled.

The Shop has taken care of my e30 when things go beyond the ability of what I can do in my own garage. The staff has appreciation for all BMWs regardless new or old. They were able to answer questions about maintenance, and future modifications in depth. I feel confident taking the e30 to autocross this year.

I have brought my car to The Shop on multiple occasions such as oil changes and fluid leaks. Each visit, the staff has been extremely helpful, friendly and quick. Coming from someone who doesn't know much about cars, they always do a great job explaining the situation and educating me on what the next step needs to be! I 100% trust the shop - would highly recommend. Love this place!
